Project overview
Two self-published analog photography zines that together trace an editorial practice built around landscape, memory and community. One personal, one collaborative, both rooted in the same conviction: that printed matter has a presence that digital can't replicate.

Challenge
The challenge across both projects was the same: translate a visual and emotional concept into a coherent printed object, making decisions about paper, sequence, typography and cover that served the feeling rather than distracted from it. For Levedad, that meant working entirely alone, photography, edit, layout, print specifications, distribution. For Somos Paisajes, it meant creating an editorial framework that could hold eight very different photographic voices under a single visual concept, while running an open call, curating submissions and coordinating with Lomography as a partner.

Outcome
- Levedad: Personal Zine: Full editorial design from cover to spine (layout, typography, image selection and sequencing). Print specifications: A5, 44 pages, 300gr matte cover, 170gr gloss paper. Self-published and sold independently through Big Cartel. Presented at Santa Librada, an independent book and zine fair in Madrid (2022).
- Somos Paisajes: Collaborative Zine with Etéreo Zine: Open call curated and managed: 8 photographers selected from submissions. Each contributor received a Lomography film roll to shoot their project: experimental rural landscape photography, double exposures, long exposures. Full editorial design and layout for the collaborative issue. Official collaboration with Lomography, featured in the Lomography Magazine. Co-organised the Lomography x Etéreo LomoWalk Madrid, an analog photography walk through the city featured in the Lomography Magazine.
- Both projects together: Editorial sensibility applied to print: the same foundation behind the Aurora Dorada book cover and layout work. Curatorial and community-building skills alongside design execution. Independent creative practice with real public reach and institutional recognition.
