Portrait of Virginia Miner

Hi! I'm Virginia Miner,
Product & Visual Designer

From Madrid and based in Valencia, Spain. I see design as a set of decisions, which is why strategy and research are the base of my work; on top of that I add AI to explore, validate and automate. Open to a team role and to freelance collaborations.

How I work

01

Design with intention first

I research the problem before opening Figma: priorities, benchmarking and user needs. Every decision has a clear reason.

02

Strategy and pixel

I can be deciding what to prioritize at the product level one day and adjusting a component's spacing the next.

03

Scalable with systems

I design with tokens, variables and handoff documentation from day one, so a dev team can build without depending on me for every question.

04

Different formats, same eye

I've worked across product, brand and editorial print. Different formats, the same eye for clarity and hierarchy.

Frequently asked questions

What are you looking for right now?

A team role, or freelance projects, in product and visual design with research, accessible design systems and rigorously applied AI. I'm also training in Learning Experience Design (LXD).

What services do you offer as a freelancer?

Three lines of work: product design (research, UX/UI, design systems and applied AI), editorial layout, and visual design and branding.

What is it like to work with me as a freelancer?

We start by talking about your goal and what you need, and I prepare a tailored proposal with price and timeline agreed in writing. Before that I give you a ballpark price, no strings attached. Then we work in phases, with clear deliverables.

Why did you move from graphic design to product?

I was looking for coherence and criteria I could apply and justify, and I found them in UX.

What does your editorial background bring to product?

Visual hierarchy, typographic detail and consistency. Editorial collaborations are occasional.

Do you code?

I design and I code enough to understand developers and collaborate better with them.

You've seen the work, let's build something great together.
